To represent its very first fragrance which will be released in Europe in the autumn, the Italian stylist Alberta Ferretti has chosen the former German supermodel Claudia Schiffer. The publicity campaign will be managed by artistic director Alex White and shot by the photography duo Mert and Marcus, who are also working on the upcoming campaign for Longchamp.
“It's an honour to be chosen as the face of the Alberta Ferretti fragrance. Alberta and I have worked together for many years and it's wonderful to be able to collaborate on this exciting project together. Alberta's designs always embody femininity and elegance which are reflected in this fragrance,” declared Claudia Schiffer.
For her part, Alberta Ferretti explained that “Claudia is a beauty icon and a woman whose sensuality comes from her unique and inimitable personality. Possessing awareness and strength, she expresses the qualities that every woman desires. Claudia represents the woman for whom my fashion and fragrance is designed”.
In January 2008 the top of the range cosmetics group Elizabeth Arden signed an exclusive, long-term global licensing contract with the Aeffe group for the development, commercialization and distribution of perfumes, cosmetics and body products from Alberta Ferretti.

Alberta Ferretti has opened its first boutique in the United Arab Emirates. The luxury label, in partnership with Al Tayer Insigna, opened this store in Dubai in June on the first level of the Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue. 
German supermodel Claudia Schiffer, 39, is expecting her third child with her British filmmaker husband Matthew Vaughn, she said in a statement released by her management. 
After lending her image to fashion designers for more than two decades, supermodel Claudia Schiffer says she is now ready to create her own fashion business, which could include cashmere wares and handbags.
