Jonathan Saunders designs a collection for Escada Sport

Escada, a German luxury fashion group specialised in ready-to-wear apparel for women, has announced a partnership with Jonathan Saunders. The Scottish designer, who has previously collaborated with Gola, Topshop and Target and who also does a label of his own, has created a 20-piece collection for the Escada Sport label.

The “relaxed chic” line will be distributed from November 2011 in Escada stores across the world, as well as in some multi-brand stores. Following this project with the designer, the Escada Group, which was recently purchased by India’s billionaire steelmaking Mittal family, is sure to have more collaborations to come in 2012.
