The beauty products company said its earnings per share will now exceed its Nov. 4 forecast of 90 cents to $1.00 per share for the quarter ended Dec. 31.

Elizabeth Arden also said its net sales will now be at or above the high end of its prior forecast of $393 million to $403 million.
Analysts on average expect revenue of $403 million for the quarter, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
The company also said it plans to offer $225 million of senior notes due 2021. It said the net proceeds will be used to repurchase its senior subordinated notes due in 2014.
