American Eagle Outfitters comes to North Africa and the Middle East

In the Middle East, American Eagle Outfitters already had a presence via franchises in Israel. The American group could also be found in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait and the UAE through its partner M.H. Alshaya. It will now strengthen its presence in the region with the opening of a store in the Taj Mall in Jordan, as well as a first store in Egypt, located in the City Stars Mall in Cairo.

AEO has also set up its first store in North Africa in the brand new Morocco Mall in Casablanca, Morocco. The group plans to open new stores in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon in early 2012 and will announce its arrival on these new international markets in the coming months. Already operating in 77 countries, the group had recently arrived in Italy as well.
